Job title - Commodity Risk Management Specialist Reporting to - Head of Commodity Risk Management Main interfaces Internally Regional and Global Procurement and Finance teams, Treasury teams, Supply Chain Planning Teams Externally Suppliers / Commodity Trading Vendors / Banks / System Vendors / Implementation partners / Advisors Main purpose of the job The Commodity Risk Management Specialist supports the global procurement commodity risk management framework by providing high-quality analysis, reporting, and coordination across business units and regions. The role plays a critical part in ensuring that data, risk exposures, and hedge strategies are accurately tracked, aligned, and reported consistently across the group. The Specialist will also support in identifying new commodity exposures, with an aim to expanding commodity risk management across the group, through collaboration with internal procurement and treasury teams and the external supply base. The role can evolve to include pricing strategy development across exposures in metals, energy and agriculture. Accountabilities and deliverables  1.    Collect, consolidate, and analyse commodity exposure data across business units and regions. 2.    Ensure alignment of risk methodologies, assumptions, and reporting standards globally. 3.    Collaborate with regional procurement, treasury and finance teams to gather insights and support local execution of risk processes. 4.    Engage with key suppliers on projects to improve transparency, risk-sharing mechanisms, and data accuracy. 5.    Support internal controls, hedge documentation, and compliance with procurement risk policies. 6.    Prepare regular dashboards and reports on risk positions, hedging status, and market trends. . 7.    Ensure alignment of risk methodologies, assumptions, and reporting standards globally. 8.    Assist in continuous improvement of risk tools, templates, and systems. . 9.    Act as a point of contact for regional teams on operational aspects of commodity risk management. 10. Create Strategic data driven insights for Procurement in the area of commodity risk management. 11. Collaborate with regional procurement and supply chain teams to support forecast alignment and exposure tracking 12. Work closely with regional finance and treasury teams on hedge accounting, documentation, and mark-to-market valuations. 13. Create Strategic data driven insights for Procurement. 14. Conducting investigations relating to ‘classic’ Transaction monitoring, screening alerts and on-chain transactions.    Managing financial crime risk for Zodia Custody across APAC and helping to translate local regulatory requirements into efficient operational processes by working with the local revenue team and group operations teams Reviewing due diligence (including KYC) completed by onboarding analysts and taking a leading role in assessing risk in relation to complex clients wanting to become customers of Zodia Custody. Assessing risk in relation to complex non-client relationships and partnerships that Zodia Custody enters into. Supporting the conduct of Quality Assurance Reviews into work completed by Helping respond to information requests from third parties and Zodia Custody partners as required.
