Description

Responsibilities: Develop and implement business development strategies to penetrate the government sector. Identify and target potential government clients to expand the company's client base. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the government sector. Lead sales negotiations and contract discussions with government agencies. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of projects. Monitor government tenders and procurement opportunities. Prepare sales proposals, presentations, and bids. Stay updated on government regulations, policies, and industry trends. Conduct market research and competitor analysis. Prepare sales reports and forecasts. Assist in training and mentoring junior business development team members. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the government sector. Strong knowledge of government procurement processes and regulations. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building government relationships. Excellent networking and relationship-building skills. Ability to negotiate and close deals with government agencies. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Willingness to travel as required.
