Description

The Role We are seeking a qualified and experienced Counsellor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering evidence-based treatments, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and experience in administering psychological assessments as well as strong report writing skills.  What You'll Do Develop and implement individualised treatment plans using evidence-based interventions, with a primary focus on CBT. Develop specialised clinical care pathways in line with the evidence-base and best practice. Provide individual, couples, group therapy sessions for clients, both in-person and virtually. Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing service development and improvement initiatives. Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement client-centered treatment plans. Work closely with our 24/7 helpline responder team to manage risk, ensure the safety of clients in crisis situations and provide crisis interventions Develop and implement SOPs for risk management and clinical procedures, and train providers on these processes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with professional and legal standards. Continuously update professional knowledge and skills through participation in continuing education and professional development activities. Ability to commit to clinic operating hours of Monday to Friday 10-9pm and Saturday 10-2pm on a roster basis. There will be 2 evening working days each week (1-9pm) and 2 working Saturdays each month.  Requirements A Master's Degree in Counselling  At least 3 years of post-graduate clinical or counselling experience, preferably in a mental health setting. Expertise in individual and group facilitation Proficient in planning and executing online seminars with the use of various web platforms and adept at creating engaging content. Proficient in effectively navigating and managing crisis situations. Strong knowledge and experience in delivering evidence-based treatments with a focus on CBT as a core treatment modality. Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Counsellor in Singapore (Singapore Association for Counselling or SAC). Must be able to conduct in-person sessions at Intellect's office location or our partnered client's location. Good to have: Experience in providing clinical supervision to other mental health professionals.
