Department: Technical Services Reports to: Head, Technical Services Responsibilities: Technical Support: Provide technical support to vessels managed by company. Attend to vessels as required. Planned Maintenance Monitoring: Oversee vessels' planned maintenance schedules. Implement improvements as necessary. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure Masters and Chief Engineers are updated on statutory instruments and amendments issued by regulatory bodies. Technical Input: Provide input for service engagements and spare part procurement for vessels. Role Substitution: Act as 1st deputy DPA/CSO during the absence of the main holder. Cover duties of Head, Technical Services during their absence. Additional Delegated Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the Head, Technical Services (HTS). Requirements Requirements on Technical Expertise: Deep Electrical Knowledge: A strong understanding of electrical principles, AC/DC systems, power distribution, and control systems. This includes knowledge of: Power generation: Diesel generators, gas turbines, and renewable energy sources. Power distribution: Transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and cabling.
