Description

This is a mission-critical hire. You will be responsible for shaping corporate strategy, leading inorganic growth initiatives (M&A, partnerships, JVs), preparing the organization for IPO, and engaging with institutional investors and advisors. The ideal candidate brings a combination of strategic thinking, transactional execution, and investor storytelling. You must be comfortable operating in a high-stakes, high-expectation environment. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Corporate Development Partner with the CFO and C-suite to refine and drive the company's long-term strategic roadmap. Identify new markets, product adjacencies, and cross-border expansion opportunities. Conduct competitive analysis, commercial due diligence, and scenario planning to support executive decision-making. M&A and Inorganic Growth Originate, evaluate, and execute M&A opportunities and strategic partnerships across the region. Lead deal structuring, financial modeling, diligence, and negotiations. Collaborate with legal, finance, and functional leaders to ensure successful integration post-transaction. IPO & Capital Markets Readiness Support IPO readiness by helping shape the company’s equity story, KPIs, and capital structure. Coordinate with bankers, lawyers, auditors, and internal teams to prepare for listing requirements. Develop roadshow materials, investor FAQs, and draft filings in partnership with external advisors. Investor Relations & Fundraising Manage investor communications and prepare materials for Board and investor meetings. Maintain relationships with institutional investors, VCs, and strategic partners. Drive capital raising initiatives when necessary — private placements, convertibles, strategic rounds. Requirements Ideal Candidate Profile Experience You have strong experience in investor relations space where you possess strong network and contacts within investment banking sector You come with 10–15 years of progressive experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Venture Capital, or Private Equity. Demonstrated experience leading M&A transactions and/or pre-IPO preparation. Prior experience in high-growth tech, telco, digital, or platform-based business models preferred. Your Superpowers Exceptional analytical and modeling skills — ability to build and stress-test complex financial models. Strong executive presence and communication skills; comfortable engaging with Boards, banks, and global investors. High stamina, intellectual curiosity, and sound commercial judgment. Able to operate independently and drive initiatives with minimal oversight in a fast-paced and high pressure environment. Education Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields.
