Wharfedale W60 Original Version

Description

A pair of Wharfedale High End speakers, the W60 (Original Version) from the late 60s' and early 70s'. The W60 have a pair of 12 inch RED Alnico woofer. Both the woofers and tweeters are alnico magnet and original. The W60 also come with 1 inch thick cabinet in real wood veneer. They are in excellent working condition. Give the wood veneer a good rub with wood oil and they should look as good as they were. May have a few dinks here and there given their age but nothing serious. These are high end smooth neutral sounding speakers with well defined low bass. They sound best with horizontal placing and with tweeters at ear level. These speakers are for serious music listeners and audiophiles to enjoy. Will provide testing for serviceability but no audition please as I no longer have a proper setup. For those who know, the two alnico woofers are already worth the price of the two speakers. Note: The front grilles are fixed so unable to show picture of the front without grilles.
